This was our second time staying. Communication was very good. Previous renters had some car trouble and had to have vehicle towed….this overlapped our check in or was close to it. Rylee gave us a heads up asap and we delayed our checkin just a little to give time for vehicle to be offsite before we got there. As always the stay was great. They had up graded the kitchen since our last stay. Price had gone up some in the last year, but it really is a great spot and the camp is next level nice inside. It’s hard to find a nice place that allowed a dog in this area that’s worth the money you pay, this place is all of that. The sunsets were unbelievable from the deck. It’s really quiet at the end of the camp road it’s on and neighbors were quiet and respectful. Even with the next camp so close, it didn’t effect our stay at all. The only thing that would make it better is a float that you can swim out to and drive off. We just bring an inflatable one with us each year.

Lovely cottage on a peaceful, beautiful lake. Hosts were great and even left a gift bag with local treats for us to enjoy. We had a great relaxing time and would love to return.

Knife Edge Escape was perfect for our family week away! The kitchen was impressively well stocked, the sheets are so soft, everything was super clean. The view of the water is incredible! We hope to come back next year!!

Such a beautiful spot! Not only was the house super clean, but had everything you could think of! It felt just like home with an outstanding view. Rylee was an amazing host, very responsive! We definitely will be going back!

We had an amazing time! The camp was very modern and well decorated. Everything was clean and organized. The beds, linens and pillows were all comfortable. Not to mention, the location was ideal! Very close to the lake store and local restaurants. Rylee was very kind and responsive to our questions.

What a magical spot near Baxter State Park. From the newly renovated kitchen to the amazing lake, fire pits and lovely deck to enjoy the sunset in the shadow of Mt. Katahdin, it was such a lovely place. It was a great launch pad for our trip to Baxter State Park. Would highly recommend and hope to be back next summer.

We had a wonderful time at the cabin! It was so close and easy to access Baxter State Park for a Katahdin hike early in the morning. We enjoyed incredible sunsets on the beautiful porch and really loved the canoe and kayaks, and it was nice to have an outdoor grill ready to go. Everything was super clean and just like the pictures. Rylee was proactive with communication and always responsive. Very peaceful and quiet, and a perfect stay.!

Rylee’s lake house is an absolutely quaint space with an extraordinary location. My friends and I stayed for a weekend to hike up Katahdin and while the weather wasn’t with us to make it to the summit, the lake house was a perfect spot to relax, cook, swim, play games, and enjoy ourselves. The house is well-appointed with comfortable beds, a great table for family dining, and an absolutely spectacular view on from the couch or the deck. I would highly recommend staying here!

If you’re looking for peace, quiet, and a cozy escape—this is it! This cabin on Tranquility Lane in Brownville, Maine was exactly what we needed. It’s tucked away in the woods, offering privacy and calm, but still just a short drive to Baxter State Park and all the hiking and wildlife the area has to offer. The cabin was spotless, well-stocked, and clearly cared for with love. Waking up to the sounds of nature and sipping coffee on the porch was absolute heaven. We couldn’t have asked for a better retreat—highly recommend to anyone looking to unplug and recharge in the Maine woods!

We had a lovely stay at Knife Edge Escape. The house was a perfect family getaway near Baxter Stare Park. We enjoyed hiking in the park. The kayaks and paddle boards were great too.
